What a role changes
A role does not add a different medicine; it changes the proportions. Every note phrase in the corpus carries note-type tags (HPI, ROS, exam, assessment, plan, orders, progress, discharge, consult, procedure, nursing, results, counseling), and a role sets how often each type is drawn, along with how much weight each category chip gets. It also adds a pack of lines that are specific to how that role charts. Roles combine with any specialty.
